Travel Log: Madeira Beach, FL

After an exhausting start to the new year it was already time for a mini vacation. Lucky for me, I have family in Florida I can escape to at any time. My mom and I woke up on Friday morning and left our 20 degree weather for the sunshine state. We spent our first day in Madeira Beach taking in the sights and all the wildlife. I have never seen so many animals on the beach at one time. It was a little cold and cloudy, but I always think a cloudy winter beach is the most beautiful. As we walked on the beach I realized my feet have never touched softer sand. It was so white and so fine, my feet were so comfy. We collected a lot of seashells, but left the still live ones there to make their trek back into the ocean.
